AIMS test score results

This database has 2010 and 2011 AIMS test results for public schools in Arizona. Third- through eighth-grade students and high school sophomores take the AIMS exam each spring. Elementary students are not held back if they fail the exam, but high school students must pass all three sections of AIMS to get a diploma. High school students can retake the exam up to four times and legislation allows them to boost their AIMS scores if they pass their regular courses. AIMS scores can help parents determine how their student and neighborhood school are performing compared to others.

AIMS scores are only reported if at least 10 students took the test within that group. If not enough students were tested to report, there is an asterisk (*) in the data. Grade levels are shown as 3-8 for elementary pupils. For high school students, the grade levels are shown as the year in which the students were to graduate. If a school name is blank, then the scores shown are for the overall district.
